It doesn’t matter with who you decide to pass Easter holidays. If you are with your family, or with your friends but also if you prefer to stay on your own we have a special menu for Easter lunch. Don’t leave at dawn to cook for your guests, don’t waste all the day doing the dishes. Let us take care of all, just relax and have fun!
To start we propose a classic chopping board of cold meats. It comes with our delicious gnocco fritto and sweet and sour bell peppers.
Gnocco fritto is an Italian fried yeasted bread typical of Emilia, in particular of Bologna, Modena and Reggio Emilia which is the best companion for cold meats of northern Italy like Parma ham, coppa and pancetta.
The lunch continues with who first courses, both with our homemade fresh pasta.
The first one is a stuffed pasta: a tortello stuffed with wild herbs on a fondue of cacio nero of Pienza.
Cacio nero means black cheese, and it’s a typical product of the town of Pienza, which is in Tuscany, near Siena.
The second dish of pasta is based on game, tagliatelle of hard wheat with duck ragout and porcini mushrooms.
The main course is a succulent beef entrecote with rocket salad, parmigiano slices and cherry tomatoes.
The lunch ends with a fresh and sweet strawberries gelée.
The cost of the menu for Easter lunch is 30 euro, including water, wine and an espresso.
