Do you already start to think to Christmas? Here at Osteria la Pioppa we’ve pulled out the decorations and we’ve started to create the right atmosphere.
And obviously we’ve created a special menu for Christmas lunch 2017.
It’s a special occasion to spend with the family, these are the dishes we’ve thought to take care of you and of the people you love in this very important day:
APPETIZERS
We’ve thought that Golose stuzzicherie is the best appetizer for this festivity: what could be better than starting the Christmas lunch with a plate of appetizers to share all together?
In Osteria la Pioppa’s golose stuzzicherie Christmas version you will find:
-Oranges and fennels salad with duck speck
-Raw ham and zucchini rolls
-Bresaola bundles with pickled quartirolo
-Speck rolls
-Pumpkin pie with fondue
FIRST COURSES
Even at Christmas we can’t renounce fresh homemade pasta. We choose a classic: pumpkin cappellacci with truffle slices. And something we’ve thought just for this occasion, you can see it in the image: gnocchi with chanterelle cream and pistachios.
MAIN COURSE
In our opinion on Christmas table can’t miss dried fruit. We’ve decided to use it to make a beef tenderloin with hazelnuts sauce.
DESSERTS
In the end, a triumph of chocolate: dark chocolate pie with white chocolate fondue. It’s Christmas, you can succumb to some temptation!
And obviously the lunch closes with a good espresso.
